Field service technician, engineering student, and automation builder โ working at the intersection of industrial systems and modern software. Available for consulting in Perth, WA and remotely.
I didn't take the traditional path. I started in the trades, ran a tattoo studio (handled all the marketing, SEO, and growth myself), then self-taught CNC on a 30-year-old machine with nothing but internet access โ pre-AI era. That machine is now running production.
Since then I've worked across laser cutting, engraving, CNC mills, and press brakes at multiple shops. I spent a year building CNC machines at a manufacturer before moving into field service for LVD industrial machinery โ travelling to client sites, diagnosing faults under pressure, and commissioning complex systems.
In parallel I've been building on the software side โ Python automation, AI agent systems, full-stack web apps, and data pipelines. I see the convergence of industrial and digital automation coming fast and I want to be useful at that junction.
I'm currently completing an Associate Degree in Engineering at UniSA while working in the field. The goal is to grow into automation consulting โ bringing both hands-on industrial experience and modern software skills to the same table.
I've operated, repaired, and built the machines. When I advise on automation, I know what the shop floor actually looks like.
Python, Next.js, APIs, data pipelines, AI agents โ I can bridge the gap between industrial hardware and modern software stacks.
From reverse-engineering legacy CNC machines to building production web apps solo โ I figure things out and ship.
