Engineering Software · Field Toolkit
An offline-capable engineering calculator and troubleshooting toolkit designed for quick use on the workshop floor, on site, and on mobile.

This working CNC feed and speed screen calculates spindle speed, feed rate, and the chip load used from a compact mobile workflow. Material presets and automatic chip-load assistance reduce repeated setup while keeping the inputs and result basis visible.
Captured from the installed ForgeTools mobile build.

The field problem
Useful calculations and reference material are often split across manuals, websites, spreadsheets, and single-purpose applications.
The project question
Can the common tools used across electrical, automation, CNC, and fabrication work be made available through one consistent, offline-capable interface?
ForgeTools grew from the overlap between field service, machinery, electrical work, fabrication, and software. Its purpose is not to replace standards, manuals, or engineering judgement; it is to reduce friction around recurring calculations and first-pass troubleshooting.
Application structure
TypeScript calculation screens share navigation, result components, reference data, favourites, and local persistence. Offline access keeps the core toolkit useful where connectivity is limited or inconvenient.
The application is usable, but a working build is not the same thing as a fully validated engineering product.
Working
Next
ForgeTools supports estimation, comparison, and troubleshooting. Results still need to be checked against the applicable standards, manufacturer data, site conditions, safety requirements, and competent engineering judgement before they are used for consequential decisions.
